Founded RBE in 2008. Walks every estimate himself, signs every scope, and runs the field on most projects. The buck stops here.
Whole-home and multi-room renovations sequenced as one project — kitchens, baths, floors, finish, and mechanicals under one signed scope.
Layouts that respect how you actually cook. Cabinetry, counters, lighting, ventilation, and code-compliant electrical — built to last.
Waterproofing, ventilation, and storage built for daily use — custom shower pans, tile work, vanities, and tub-to-shower conversions.
Additions, garage conversions, decks, and multi-trade work — permits pulled in MD, VA, and DC with one team coordinating every sub.
Custom builds and ground-up additions with engineered drawings, sequenced framing, and finish work to match the existing house.

We've been remodeling homes across Maryland, Northern Virginia, and DC since 2008. The same crew that walks your estimate runs your build.
Ederaldo Pereira started Renovations by Ed in Frederick, MD in 2008. Seventeen years later, the company still operates the same way: one office, one PM, one crew, one written scope per project. Every estimate gets walked in person. Every project gets a final punch-list walkthrough before the last invoice.
We’re licensed in three jurisdictions — MHIC #116809 in Maryland, #2705166984 in Virginia, and #410516000457 in DC. We pull permits on every project that requires one, and we schedule the inspections ourselves.
Most of our work is residential remodeling, additions, and general contracting. With our Virginia RBC designation, we also build ground-up — custom homes, spec builds, and new construction across our licensed jurisdictions. We don’t do commercial. What we do, we do well.
No call-center handoffs. Silas is your main point of contact end-to-end; Eddy walks every estimate himself and signs every scope; Joshua runs construction on active builds; Alcides handles the finish work on site. Small on purpose.

Your main point of contact end-to-end. The first call you'll get after you submit a request, and the person you'll call, text, and email through the project. Coordinates the estimate window, proposal turnaround, and build schedule.

Runs the day-to-day on active builds. Pulls permits, coordinates trades, and runs the walkthroughs. You'll hear from Josh on construction-side questions during the build — Silas stays your main contact end-to-end.

Twelve years in residential finish work — trim, tile, cabinetry, mortar. The work you'll actually see at the final walkthrough.
The process is the proof. We don't move forward without a signed scope, and no work happens outside that scope without a written change order.
Tell us what you want to change. 15-minute intake.
We walk the space. Measure. Take notes.
Scope, allowances, timeline — in writing.
Permits, trades, sequencing. We run the job.
Punch list closed before final payment.
